Shelly Mayer
Shelly Mayer is the executive director of Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP), a producer-led organization focused on advancing dairy through education, leadership and proactive industry engagement. She works with dairy farm families and industry leaders across the country on issues including business management, animal well-being, environmental stewardship, food safety and leadership development. Shelly grew up on a dairy farm in southwestern Wisconsin and earned degrees in agricultural journalism and dairy science from UW-Madison. Today, she and her family operate a dairy farm and agritourism business near Slinger, Wisconsin, where they manage Holstein and Brown Swiss cattle.

Tim Moag
Tim Moag, CPA, Emeritus Partner, has 45 years of experience in public accounting. He specializes in agriculture business services and consults with farm managers on tax, financial, estate and management issues. He also has significant experience with equipment distributors, construction contractors, petroleum dealers and convenience store operations. Tim is a member of the Northeast Dairy Producers Association and the New York State Agriculture Society and a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in New York.

Dr. Brian Reed
Brian Reed, DVM, MBA , completed a 37-year career as a primarily dairy veterinarian in southeastern Pennsylvania. Since receiving a Master’s in Business Administration in 2001, he combined dairy business consulting services with his veterinary duties. Dr. Reed now serves dairy farming families in the areas of generational transition planning, strategic planning with the entire family and scale of the farm businesses in mind and evaluation of the cost of production on farms. He works closely with the Center for Dairy Excellence to deliver these services while within the borders of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Farm Succession Coordinator with the International Farm Transition Network .

Heather Moore
Heather Moore and her husband, Brandon, of Maquoketa, Iowa, own and operate Moore Family Farms, a first-generation dairy and livestock operation, with their 5 children. They milk 40 registered Holstein cows, run an 800-head custom feed yard and have pigs, a laying-hen facility and small goat herd. They own and manage Moore Family Farms Creamery, two locations of Moore Local, and Rockdale Locker, a USDA-inspected meat processing facility, with 30 employees. Heather studied animal science and ag education at UW-Platteville. She is active in the Iowa Farm Bureau, Holstein Foundation and as a 4-H Leader.

Lolly Lesher
Lolly Lesher and her husband William farm in SE Pennsylvania. They own and operate Way-Har farms and Way-Har Farm Market. The farm is 350 milking cows with 500 acres farmland. The farm market is 56 years old and they retail and wholesale milks, creams, ice cream and bakery goods. The farm is currently creating new pathways for next generation to join and own the business.Lolly currently serves as Chair of the National Dairy Board, on the Innovation Center Board and American Dairy Association Northeast board along with some local leadership roles such as school board and county fair board membership.

Paul Lippert
Paul Lippert of Pittsville, Wis. owns Grass Ridge Farm, LLC, with his father, Matt, and brother, Carl. The dairy is home to 700 registered Holsteins and Jerseys as well as 600 young stock. Paul is the herdsman and human resources manager. He graduated from UW-River Falls with a Dairy Science degree. Grass Ridge Farm hosted the Pittsville FFA Dairy Breakfast in 2018. Paul believes strongly in PDPW’s educational focus, attending many events himself. He currently serves as president for the Wood Area Holstein Breeders and Chair of the Purple Ribbon Classic Sale. Tim is a member of the Northeast Dairy Producers Association and the New York State Agriculture Society and a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in New York.

Hansel New
Hansel New is Assistant Vice President of Sustainability Strategy & Programs at Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), where he leads sustainability strategies, programs and partnerships that strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of the dairy supply chain. His work focuses on helping navigate emerging sustainability expectations and opportunities, including environmental markets, regenerative agriculture and ecosystem services. With experience spanning farmer-owned cooperatives, food manufacturing and global consumer brands, Hansel brings a broad perspective on connecting producers, customers and industry partners to address complex sustainability challenges. Hansel holds a B.S. in Environmental Health & Safety and an MBA in Sustainable Business.

Daniel Peerless
Daniel Peerless is Nestlé Global’s sustainable sourcing lead for dairy, meat, poultry and eggs. He leads the implementation of the Nestlé Responsible Sourcing Standard withing the global supply chain for animal-source ingredients and addresses key Nestlé priorities including human rights, animal welfare, deforestation and climate. As the technical lead for the Dairy Climate Taskforce, he identifies technologies and practices that can be applied to reduce emissions in Nestle’s dairy supply.

Shane St. Cyr
Shane St. Cyr grew up in a Maine dairy farming family and has been passionate about the industry ever since. After several years in production and then agri-business, Shane returned to the production side. Today he is a partner at ADK Farms in Clinton County, New York, where they farm multiple locations and operate biodigesters with paired RNG plants. Shane is a voting representative for DFA, a board member of the Northeast Dairy Producers Association (NEDPA), and a member of the Vermont Dairy Producers Conference Committee. He lives in Clinton County with his wife, Bonnie, and their son, Xander, where they enjoy all the Adirondacks have to offer.
